No matter what we’ve been through, no matter what the past has written, it has always led us back to each other. In the end, through every chapter and every change, it’s still US.

Because Every Moment Matters
From 2014,
through the space in between,
to a future unseen.
Our Love Story
It all started with a simple “Hi” on Facebook back in 2014.

A Journey Of Love
I added Regina after noticing her profile—honestly, nagandahan ako sa display picture niya. What began as a casual message quickly turned into something more interesting—especially when it came time to exchange numbers. Regina, being her playful and cautious self, gave me her number… but left out the last digit. So there I was, texting nine different strangers just to find the one that would lead me to her. Luckily, I guessed it right.
Regina wasn’t used to going on dates, so I had to get a little creative. Knowing she was an education student, I offered to help her with her visual aids—my very own version of asking her out. And it worked. That simple favor became our very first date.
From then on, we found ourselves spending time together after her school hours—sharing meals, laughter, and quiet moments at McDonald’s and Waltermart Calamba. Those “friendly dates” slowly became something deeper. I would walk her home, stopping just a few kilometers short, because she wasn’t quite ready to introduce me as her suitor yet. Still, I didn’t mind. I was just happy to be part of her days.
Until one day, I decided to take a bold step.
During a family event, I surprised her with an unexpected visit. That moment changed everything—I met her parents, her titos and titas, and was welcomed with warmth I’ll never forget.
As the years passed, we shared countless moments together—celebrations, milestones, and memories with friends, classmates, and family. We thought our story would simply continue straight to the end, just like any other love story.
But like many relationships, ours was also tested.
Life began to change. Priorities shifted. Schedules became busier as we both started working. Misunderstandings grew, sometimes leading to arguments, and eventually, distance. Year 2019, as painful as it was, we reached a point where we chose to let each other go—believing it was what we both needed to grow individually.
Then came 2020.
In the middle of the pandemic, when everything slowed down, I often found myself wanting to send her a simple message—“Kamusta ka?” But fear and hesitation always held me back. I sought guidance through prayer, asking God what I should do. I still remember what our pastor told me: “If you’re changing just to make her stay, that’s not right. Change for yourself, because that’s what truly matters.”
Time passed.
Almost two years later, something unexpected happened.
Regina found herself thinking about the past. After talking with one of our common friends, she had dreamed about me—and that dream gave her the courage to finally reach out.
She sent me a message.
But at that time, I wasn’t ready.
I replied coldly—trying to keep my distance, trying to protect what I thought I had already let go of.
“Take care. I hope you are happy. Kamusta mo ako kina Tita, Clei, at Buboy.”
Maybe it wasn’t the response she expected. Maybe it wasn’t even what I truly felt.
But sometimes, timing really is everything.
Because despite that moment, the story didn’t end there.
What I once thought was God’s “no”… turned out to be a “wait.”
With a renewed heart and courage, I reached out again. Through a small connection with her younger sibling, I found out she was still single. One message led to a conversation, and that conversation led us back to each other.
This time, things were different.
We still faced misunderstandings, but now, we chose to face them with patience, understanding, and love. We learned. We grew. And we held on—stronger than before.
And now, after a two-year pause in our story, here we are… about to say “I do.”
We are grateful because we know that everything happened not by chance, but by God’s perfect timing and grace.
And here’s something even more beautiful—
We later realized that I wasn’t the first one who noticed her… she saw me first. Months before we officially met, we had already crossed paths in a small shop in Calamba. Two strangers, living separate lives, not knowing that one day, our stories would become one.
That’s when we realized—
We were always meant to find each other.
